Book to Screen Adaptations - Quarantine Edition

In the last few years we have seen more tv shows and movies based on books, though it may seem like a lack of original content. But it also gives the non-readers some amazing stories to binge on and bookworms like me, see some of our favourite stories and characters come to life and giving the words on the pages a more three-dimensional perspective into these fictional tales.

There have been way too many book adaptations we have seen over the years, here are some of my favourite books that came to our screens. These amazingly well-made TV series and movies were almost as good as the books (let’s face it, in most cases books are always better) and made me click on “Next Episode” as much as they made me turn the pages.

Being at home all day now, gives us more time to catch up on shows and movies online; At least a fair distraction from our daily ‘work from home’ routines, If nothing else. I know I have been watching a lot of new series some also based on books I recently read. You can also find the reviews of some these books on my blog, if you want to help decide to 'read it' or to 'watch it' first. (Just saying!)
